Christianity tells us that there is something implicitly wrong with us and Jesus came to save us from this wrongness. The Gospel of Thomas tells us we are the Divinity we have been searching for. They are fundamentally different positions. If we want a better world then lets make a better world. It's on us. We are the sacred we have been waiting for.
